Course Objectives

The course provides the knowledge and experience necessary to migrate from a Cisco Unified CallManager 4.x or Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.x environment to a Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0 solution. The course content explains the architecture of Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0 and shows migration strategies and important considerations, when upgrading to Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0. For Cisco Unified CallManager 4.x and for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.x the upgrade path is described from planning the migration until the finalization, after upgrading to Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.0. Finally the new administration interface and the new Cisco Unified Communications Manager features, like Intercom or programmable Line Buttons are explained.
